Building Inspection Division
The Building Inspection Division is responsible for the enforcement of zoning ordinances and building codes adopted by the City, which includes regulations related to building location, occupancy type, sign regulations, etc. The Building Inspection Division achieves its goals through site and building plan reviews, permit reviews, and inspections. The Division also provides assistance to developers and citizens during the development process to help ensure full compliance with all applicable codes.

PERMIT FEES Total valuation in dollars |
General construction permit fees. The required fee for the granting and issuance of a permit for the construction, repair, or alteration of any building, to include electrical, mechanical, and plumbing permits, shall be computed as follows: |
| $1,000 and less | $20.00 |
| $1,001 to $50,000 | $20.00 for the first $1,000.00 plus $5.00 for each additional thousand or fraction thereof, up to and including $50,000.00. |
| $50,001 to $100,000 | $265.00 for the first $50,000.00 plus $4.00 for each additional thousand or fraction thereof, up to and including $100,000.00. |
| $100,001 to $500,000 | $465.00 for the first $100.000.00 plus $3.00 for each additional thousand or fraction thereof, up to and including $500,000.00. |
| $500,001 and up | $1,665.00 for the first $500,000.00 plus $2.00 for each additional thousand or fraction thereof. |
| MOVING FEES | For the moving of any building or structure, the fee shall be $100.00 |
