FEES Permit and inspection fees when building permit is not required. |
Before any permit is granted for installation, alteration, or repair of any electrical wiring, devices, or equipment, the person making application for such permit shall pay to the City a fee in the amount specified as follows, which fee shall cover the cost of routine inspections required by this chapter: |
| For issuing each permit | $20.00 In addition to the $20.00 permit fee, there shall be an additional fee of $0.20 for each outlet, including wall switches) |

| Hot water heaters | $1.00 |
| Electrical and neon signs | $1.00 |
| Electrical
motors: 1/3 hp or less Over 1/3 hp but not exceeding 5 hp For each hp in excess of 5 hp |

| For inspection of any installation, device or equipment not specified above | The electrical inspector shall charge a fee of $15.00; provided, however, there shall be no fee for a permit covering not more than three (3) wall outlets |
