Paris Main Street & Downtown Events: 2024


March 29-30: Mobile Planetarium: Brought by Paris Main Street Project and Sponsored by Credit Union of Texas, Harrison Walker and Harper, Paris Public Library and Parks and Recreation Department. This planetarium experience will educate the students on the up and coming Total Eclipse that will pass through Paris Texas on April 8. See event page for detailed schedule. paristexas.gov/eclipse

April 13th , Paris Texas Wine Fest. A ticketed event for adults. Tickets: Pariswinefest.com. $45. A tasteful event held in Participating downtown shops. Come taste Texas fine wines and delicious foods with local flare. - Swag given includes a commemorative Paris Texas Wine Fest cup. 

May 4th Farmers & Artisan  Market 400 SW 1st Street. Opening Day: A must every Saturday from 8 - 1p.m. Come see the local farmers and artisans, and bakers. Start every Saturday with this fun community gathering.

August 31st:  Hatch Chile Fest: A Fiesta at the Paris Farmers and Artisan Market from 8 a.m. - 1 p.m.. Local vendors roast the Hatch chiles fresh from New Mexico. Burger Sliders, Kids Games and vendors with everything Hatch.  Later that  evening around 7;00 p.m.:  

September 21: Salsa on the Square Music Event.- Highlighting Spanish heritage month- Enjoy the music from Lara Latin, and Dancing on the plaza with special instructors from Kumbala Dance Studio.... Salsa dancing fun in downtown under the lights on the plaza

October 26th:  24rd Annual Festival of Pumpkins 9 a.m.- 5 p.m.: The Community event of the year held in beautiful downtown Paris around the plaza.  The event draws 1000's of people, with  over 60 Vendors, food trucks, live entertainment, bounce houses, contest, kids games and more. November - April, Farmers and Artisan Winter Market:   Market 400 SW 1st Street.   A smaller version of the Regular Season.  A must every Saturday from 11 - 1:00 Come see the local farmers and artisans, and bakers. Several of the same vendors enjoyed during the regular season. Start Saturday shopping and shop local for food or that unique gift

November 16 from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m.: Downtown Christmas Tree Lighting - Come to the JJ Culbertson fountain to see the Santa, Mrs. Clause, live reindeer. Enjoy live music, carols, popcorn and hot chocolate while preparing for the tree lighting at 6:00 p.m.

November 30Small Business Saturday. Support local business in downtown on this special holiday shopping day set aside as small business Saturday. You could win a door prize from a participating business or $300 downtown Dollars. 

December 7, 6:00 p.m.  Christmas Parade of Lights. Join the Paris Downtown Association for the 14th Annual Christmas Parade of Lights. for Parade info contact the Paris Downtown Association www.downtownptx.com 

December 14th Time TBD  Wassail Fest/Christmas At the Historic MUSEUMS- History Maker of the year. Downtown businesses craft their version of Wassail and serve it to attendees. Attendees are asked to taste and rate the wassail and cast their vote for the best wassail in downtown. Door prizes, and lots of fun on this special shopping day.
