Unclaimed Property

Unclaimed property is presumed abandoned under the provisions of and subject to Chapter 76 of the Texas Property Code when the city is unable to locate the owner due to incomplete or inaccurate contact and address information or the owner fails to request the funds. Unclaimed property may be a water deposit refund, a payroll or vendor check, or money from other transactions with the city.

The City of Paris strives to connect the rightful owners with the money that belongs to them. It is not the City's cash to keep and your help is needed in making this happen.

Property valued at more than $100 is sent to the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts
