City of Paris Court Rules

  • Courts are for Pickleball only.
  • Use courts at your own risk.
  • Courts are available from 5:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. - additional hours may be allowed by permit only.
  • No selling or bartering of goods or services (paid lessons) without a permit.
  • No chairs, pets, bikes, skateboards, or other wheeled vehicles are allowed on the courts.
  • No profanity, disruptive or abusive language, fighting, horseplay, or destructive behavior.
  • No food, glass containers, alcoholic beverages, smoking, or vaping allowed on courts.
  • Properly dispose of trash.

Using City of Paris Courts

  • Courts are first come, first serve.
  • Tennis shoes or shoes with non-marking soles are required on courts.
  • Sports Complex Court #4 is for beginner or novice players and #5 is a Challenge Court.
  • When courts are full.
    • Use standard paddle stacking to schedule gameplay. Refer to video above.
    • Play to 11 points, win by 2 points, then yield the court to waiting players.
    • Winners on challenge court #3 may stay for a second game and then split (2 on, 2 off).
  • Good sportsmanship, courtesy, and proper Pickleball etiquette are expected.
  • Tournaments and events must be scheduled through Paris Parks and Recreation.
