Temporary Signs

Temporary signs, like a yard sale, garage sale, for sale or for rent signs, are only allowed in certain locations and are prohibited in the Right-of-Way.

Garage Sale and Land or House For Sale or Rent signs are only allowed on the property where the Garage Sale is happening or on the actual property that is for sale or rent.

No Temporary Signs are allowed in the Right-of-Way. To determine the Right-of-Way area use telephone poles or the seams between a driveway approach and driveway. The space between those items and the street will generally be the Right-of-Way.

Garage sales conducted in accordance with article 5.04 may be identified by one (1) sign not exceeding a total of four (4) square feet of sign area for all signs and can only be installed on the lot or series of contiguous lots on which the garage sale is located. Such signs shall be installed only during the days for which the garage sale is conducted.
