1. Does Cox Field have airline service?

No. Paris – Cox Field is a general aviation facility that does not currently serve commercial airlines. DFW Airport and Dallas Love Field (LUV) offer commercial air service.

The 100LL self-serve station is on the north end of the airport ramp.

5. Does Cox Field have crew cars?

Yes. Paris – Cox Field has two crew cars. Cars are on a first-come, first-serve basis. Limit use to a two to three hour window. NO OVERNIGHT USE IS ALLOWED.

6. I'm hungry - what type of food does Paris have to offer?

Cox Field has no cafes, but great food, including Tex-Mex or authentic Mexican, Italian, BBQ, home-style cooking, sandwich shops, and burgers, are just minutes from the airport. 7. I want to learn how to fly, is pilot training available at Cox Field?

Several independent Certified Flight Instructors (CFIs) that offer flight lessons from Cox Field. Call the airport at 903-784-4648 for contact information.

Cox Field is six miles east of Paris on 1537 acres of land and an elevation of 547ft. The physical address of the airport is Cox Field Airport, 6780 Collier Dr., Paris, TX 75462.

9. Are there organizations that provide free air transport from Cox Field for specialized medical purposes?

Angel Flight is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that provides free flights for people needing to travel for specialized medical treatment.

11. Does Cox Field have an Air Traffic Control Tower?

No, Paris Cox Field does not currently have a control tower. All pilots use the current CTAF frequency, 122.975 MHz, to announce their position relative to the airport. 

12. I'm a T-hangar tenant. How can I report an issue with my hangar, lights, self-serve fueling station, rent payment or billing, or inquiries about other needs?

Call the City of Paris FBO at 903-784-4648. Staff is available by phone Monday – Saturday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. to assist you with any questions.

13. How can I pay my hanger invoice?

Paris Cox Field only accepts hangar invoice payments by check. Make payment in person at the City of Paris Finance Office, 135 1st St. SE, or mail to: City of Paris, PO Box 9037, Paris, TX 75461
