Household trash is the waste products from day-to-day living. All household trash must be inside the poly cart for collection.
Brush means any cuttings or trimmings from trees, shrubs, lawns, and similar materials not exceeding four feet in length or four inches in diameter.
Bulk or bulky waste means large rubbish items including, but not limited to, white goods*, bicycles, furniture, rugs, mattresses, televisions, fence material, auto parts, and other similar oversized items that are customary to ordinary housekeeping operations of a residential unit.
CARDS will collect up to 3 cubic yards of brush or bulk waste for free on your regular collection day. Residents can leave bulk trash outside of the poly cart.
*"White goods" means refrigerators, stoves and ranges, water heaters, clothes washers and dryers, freezers, swing sets, bicycles (without tires), scrap metal, copper, and other similar domestic and commercial large appliances.
Any appliance such as a freezer, refrigerator, water cooler, dehumidifier, air conditioner, or any device that typically contains refrigerants must be tagged, certifying that a certified refrigerant technician removed all refrigerant before placement for pick up.
